Brick House Pub in Reading

Great little gem in Reading! Cozy , comfortable atmosphere and friendly service. Owner very congenial and involved. Menu is interesting and with changing specials. Had salmon bites appetizer - delicious! The crab cake sandwich seafood night special was also very good. My boyfriend said the French dip was "amazing!". Also went back to check out the St. Patrick's day menu. We tried the scotch egg ( yummy) . Boyfriend had a perfect burger and I ordered Jim's guiness stew. The stew and homemade Irish soda bread were spot on! Could've licked the plate! Try this restaurant. Location and building a little quirky but kind of takes you back to old school hometown bar/restaurant days. You won't be disappointed!

Great place to grab lunch. Not too busy and the prices are very reasonable. Hot wings were juicy and the sauces tasted great. The 10000 ghost flavor wasn't too hot but it tasted great unlike out super hot sauces. Last but not least the chicken Caesar salad was really solid and the portion was great.

Hands down the best wings around. The variety of flavors and size of the wings makes this place our families go to wing place. Great beer selection and drinks. Looks like a house, not hard to find but if you didn't know it you would think it's just a house on the block. Try it you will not be disappointed!!

AKA Turbo. Me and my family ate there yesterday and it was so wonderful. We ate outside. With the kids running around kinda felt like we were at grandma's house having dinner. The food was amazing. Service was excellent. Thank you so much

Small corner pub. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good. Only a few tables and a small bar to sit at. It can accommodate a large table or tow bit not much more.

I have eaten in the brick house several times and the service and food has always been great and I love supporting local businesses. However, last night was different. Although, I understand Saturday nights are extremely busy, the female bartender was very rude to me and the person I was with. We walked on the door...the bartender abruptly yelled across the bar there were no tables available and then turned her back to us ....not a way to greet your customers. There were seats at the bar and we would have sat at the bar and waited for a table but decided to go to another local restaurant... which was just as busy....but the bartender was far more pleasant. I understand if your busy but your bartender could have been a little more friendly or atleast smiled .

Very friendly & quaint corner pub, but they have the BEST RIBS bar none in the 50 mile radius! Seriously folks, you like ribs, pay em a visit, you won't be disappointed!!! Had the ribs, 1/2 lb steamed shrimp and the burgers are VERY GOOD as well! No other establishment in our area has better ribs!!! Sorry I would have taken a pic but once you have one in your hands you're not stopping!

I started going to the brickhouse about a year ago semi regularly to eat and a beer and I’ve always had great service and great food every single time. I’m all about supporting small businesses and this one deserves my money!

The food was just not that great. I got the coconut shrimp and balackened tilapia. The coconut shrimp didn't taste good and the tilapia was a very small portion.

I cant speak enough about how much I love this place! 1st the staff is awesome. The 2 Beautiful bartenders/waitresses Elena and Tracy are great at their jobs and make you feel as though your a regular patron. The Cream of Crab soup is ridiculous! It's a must for crab lovers.Trust me and give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

We went last Friday evening and walked right in to a table. Selfishly, I hope this is the case all the time, because it would be awesome to have a place where I can get food this fantastic and always be able to get a table. However, it would be a shame if The Brick House Pub doesn't make millions every year because there aren't too many places in the area that do better in terms of quality of food for the money. Think: Austin's, but less formal. Think: The Pike, but not as big & loud. Think: Liberty Ale House, but with a bigger menu, and you don't have to shout to have a conversation. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I'm hard-pressed to think of anything negative to say. I'm excited to go back and to take friends & family so they can enjoy it too!

This place is small but don't let that fool you. Staff is friendly and service is good. The food is always very good and drinks are even better. It's worth the trip to check it out!

Great pub food and drink

The brickhouse was recommend to us because we like good wings. Every thing was great! The wings really delicious. My husband love the habanero/ranch sauce, I enjoyed the side of 10,000 ghosts. The bartender Maddy was very upbeat and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Even the owner took time and talked to,my husband. Excellent in all accounts. Highly recommed!!!

You won't go wrong patronizing this establishment! Food is very good...a step up from traditional bar food. Restaurant looks just like any other house in this residential neighborhood.

It ok typical bar food

Fun, fun, fun place to get a drink or have a meal. Sometimes it gets so busy that service is slow. It is a very small establishment with new owners, and you can easily tell that there are regulars who are frequent visitors. There is a tendancy for it to get loud sometimes, but the customer area is part of the first floor of a home -- very close quarters. But nobody seems to mind, everybody is having a good time!

8/29/16 aprox 6:30pm~ This was the 1st time I was there and I can assure you I will be returning and taking others with me. I had the BEST mushroom cheese burger and onion rings ever. Not to mention the service was great. The owner was so refreshingly pleasant. Thank you for a terrific evening!!

Terrible experience! I’ve been here multiple times a few years ago and things changed drastically. We ordered the lobster tail special for 24.99, two sodas, and two quesadillas. The food took a while to come out and when it did the quesadillas were cold! We asked the waitress if she could do something about them. She literally took both back to the kitchen and warmed them up in the microwave. How much does it cost to make a quesadilla? You would think they would re-make them... nope. Our bill ended up being 71 dollars For the items listed above. 🤬🤬🤬

Very friendly neighborhood watering hole!

We would recommend giving this place a try. Enjoyed the couple times we were there but better call before you go to make sure the hours posted on the internet are correct. Went one time and the bar was open but the kitchen opened later. Yesterday hours posted were 3 - 11. Went at 3:30 and the sign said "temporarily closed".
